One note on storage with the EliteDesk 800 G4 mini - you can't actually have 2 NVMe and the SATA drive installed at the same time. If you install the 2nd NMVe drive then the carrier for the SATA drive can't be installed. You can have 2x NVMe or 1x SATA + 1x NVMe, but not all three drives at the same time.

Great article! Note that I am running mine with 64GB of DDR4 on a 8700T. The memory controiller being on the CPU these days, the support is more dependent on the CPU than the motherboard. The article mentions an up to 32GB...

And yes you cannot have all 3 drives installed at the same time without some serious mode of the 2.5" drive caddie.

@PigLover I heard the Velcro comment in the video and had not realized that the rest got edited out. Velcro with the stock cable worked on this one.

Also, I ordered a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C replacement for the VGA in the option slot. Of course, mine have not arrived yet someone is now selling them for $10 on ebay HP USB-C 3.1 Gen2 Port Flex I/O Card DAF83TB14A0 / L25754-001 / DD0F80PB000 | eBay

I was told that should work but we did not get to test it before getting the review up just due to timing.
