BTW - can you run them stacked this way w/out overheating? IIRC, the primary vent panel is on the top.

I will check this out. The tops on these are solid so vents are front and rear.

Out of dozen HP G2 mini that I owned, only 1 HP mini machine has a top vent.
it also has extra tiny fan under the 2.5 inch disk to cool the m2 and 2.5inch disk.
I am using it as my desktop now.

Good to know. I have HP G4 mini's and the vent is on the top. If you stack them they overheat...

Guess the older ones were pure front-back airflow, which is better for a little cluster.
