I asked the seller, "Is the original SMART data preserved, or has it been wiped? I'm interested in multiple if the SMART data has not been altered."

He replied, "Unfortunately, this data is generally erased."

Interesting. I bought six of these from the last batch and SMART was intact. I'm out at lunch but I'd be happy to dump stats from a couple of drives when I'm home later. IIRC they had around 5 years use but total written was reasonable given the service time.

The only issue I had with mine was trouble updating the firmware to HPG4, they did have the critical HPG2 applied already though.

Here's one I grabbed at random as a representative sample from my batch. SMART and 4k, 8k and 1M fio runs:
MO0400EBTJV drive SMART + tests - Google Drive

Notable: ~5yrs power on time, really low writes, pretty darn slow for an SSD.
