Hi all,

First time/long time. Thanks for the wonderful forum, I've learnt a lot reading!

Just wondering if anyone knows if 1) the HP 669279-001 and 665249-B21 are the same card (I think the former is just a spare part number for the latter) and 2) if anyone's been able to flash these to Mellanox firmware? I'm planning to run one of these (to start) off an X570M Pro4 motherboard in a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot.

I've come across a number of these cheap from a supplier, but I'm nervous to see if I can flash them similar to how people have with the 872726-B21 and 649281-B21.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks @nthu9280!

Just updating anyone who finds this thread later, turns out they are the same device and they're actually an Intel X520-DA2 under the hood. I've since tested them with 10gbe FS.com generic SFPs and they work fine, as well as a DAC and some HP SFP's the seller gave me with them (which I assume they came with) under FreeBSD.

I haven't got my X520M Pro4 board yet in the mail, but I'll test with that too and if it doesn't work out of the box I'll report back.
