How to run stress or HW health test in Arista switches?

Hi,
I hope you're doing. I have several used Arista switches that I'm afraid to put in production since we have seen certain problems with refurbished units, especially with DCS-7170-64C, like random port-channel de-configuration and packet loss after some time or traffic levels. I was wondering if there's a command or way to do a stress test or self-test to confirm that the device can run properly with load.

Unforunately no, no network equipment has this built in. Would be nice. Only way to test it is to hook it up to a traffic generator.
Could test the cpu /ram since it's linux by running memtest (boot test memory) command , but that won't test the ASIC

I recommend getting ixchariot on 2 or all ports, and creating suite of tests. (self tests are never to be trusted.)

What is the difference between ixchariot and iperf3?

ixchariot is enterprise solution and comes with all kinds of bells and whistles.

It evaluates the network performance, the capabilities and behavior of your network (with all the different configuration and driver settings). As well as tests it against real-world applications, and realistic loads.

One should expect lic to cost between 5-20k usd.
iperf is free, but quite basic.
