Hi guys,

I don’t have a connection server, I use viewagent direct connection, and that works fine for VM guests hosted on ESXi. Now I am trying out proxmox and would like to keep using Vmware horizon client to connect to the VM (hosted by proxmox now). However, I can’t install horizon agent on the VM hosted by proxmox since it asks for connection server IP (it doesn’t do that when the VM is hosted by ESXi).

As long as I can get viewagent to install, it would work fine. Is there a way to install viewagent w/o a valid connection server? I tried various vnc viewers and none of them work as well as Horizon client. I also tried Nomachine NX but couldn’t get it to work.

Thanks

EDIT: Got this figured out. I also got Nomachine to work properly. Thread closed.
