have you tried installing the drive on different pci-e slots ?? or maybe even another machine ?? if it still giving you the same error than most likely the drive is broken.

You might give this a try, It won't hurt anything, You cover these two pins with some tape...

I bought the same card off ebay as well... Man is it fast !!!

But I will tell you I had one of the same cards go bad on me after about three months...

Code:
sudo apt-get install nvme-cli
sudo nvme list
sudo nvme fw-download /dev/nvme__ --fw='/__/MS1PC2DD3.IR3Q.fw'
sudo nvme fw-activate /dev/nvme__ --action=1
sudo nvme reset /dev/nvme__
I tried the steps you provided, on the reset it is giving the following error:

"Error: requesting reset on non-controller handle"

Any ideas how to update firmware in Windows?
gparted live ISO or any other recent live Linux distro?

As Samsung isn’t too forthcoming with firmware they aren’t with tools either. You could try the intel datacenter tool but I doubt it will work on Samsung drives.

What's the command to view the current firmware on these drives in Linux (Debian)?
nvme id-ctrl /dev/nvme0n1

Here's the latest Oracle firmware for F320. Be mindful that there's two versions of the F320 MS1PC2DD3 and MS1PC5ED3. Use the correct firmware for your version of F320.

Firmware can be installed in linux with nvme-cli

Looking for this, do you still have it?

Edit: found KPYAIR3Q

Also looking for KPYAJR3Q... only can find KPYAIR3Q. Anybody have access to Exadata System Software Update 20.1.1.0.0?
