How to connect VNX5800 to PC or Server

Hello , My first post :
1.I just acquired VNX5800 system with 1 Control Unit and 11 Storage racks, with total 175TB.
Racks are mixed SSD,600GB and 3TB total 15GB per rack.
2.I would like to connect this storage to IBM 3650 or normal PC, Linux or Windows.
3.I couldn't post any Image in JPG 2MB, receive an error "there was a problem with your file"

Is it at all possible to use this system as storage, or just sell it part by part?

Yes you can do a direct connect using HBA just upto 4 devices I think based on my memory of that version. Or you can connect via a FC switch.
8G are almost free on eBay (standard LC-LC multimode fiber to connect). 16G cards a bit more.

You would be looking for like Emulex LPe12000 series cards did cheap

I looked at Emulex LPe12000, the problem that the connector on Storage rack is different,its rectangular , not fiber for sure.
Storage Rack model is KTN-STL3, it has 15 Drives mixed ssd, and sas, total 15TB.

On the bottom of the system there is a control unit with a lot of fiber/network cards, but I want to connect the racks only.

That is a multi lane external SAS cable you need then a regular extra port SAS card.
Sorry what I don’t know if that shelf of disks is a standard SAS connections from a logical point of view or not. Maybe somebody else can confirm if it is or isn’t.
