How does this pc look for running like a 3tb iscusi san server and also a regular file server for backups of a couple servers and laptops?

I hope your power is free. This is old, power hungry hardware (the CPU was introduced in 2007). You'd be much better served by something more modern.

How does [Dual CPU] Intel Xeon E5450 with 32gb of ram sound. Ya saw power and was shocked.

We have a few of these running at the office, I haven't touched them myself but the other guys here said they had a ton of issues with the 900's. The 910s were much better.
