How do I deal with Hyper-V wanting a password of the host machine that I do not have?

I am using Edition Windows 10 Pro Version


I went through the steps of making a folder sharable on my host machine. When I went to my hyper-V Ubuntu 22.04 virtual machine and used the folders UI to go to Other Locations -> Windows Network -> Workgroup -> desktop-... it asks for a password for the desktop computer name access. I don't use a password when I use my desktop. My Windows 10 computer powers up and I click to use it without a password. Please advise.

You can't use a password-less account to access RDP (Remote Desktop) or SMB (File Share) in Windows. You must have a password assigned to the account.
