I'm dissapointed that such an expensive card uses a PCIe 4 Switch. Instead of the Broadcom PEX88048, they could have used the PEX89048 PCIe 5 Switch so that on a PCIe 5 supporting 16x port you could actually get the full bandwidth of 8x PCIe 4.0 M.2 drives and eventually also exploit PCIe 5 NVMe SSDs. Not sure how much that would have affected price of availability though, as the PEX88048 is already a 400 U$D part whereas the new PCIe 5 Switches seems to only be available directly from Broadcom...
