This seems like a good price, especially for a 12G 4K drive. In regards to the vendor's note, do not all raid controllers support 4K natively?

Yeah that's a great price, but 4KN drives aren't on LSI's support list for their 6Gb/s controllers so I'm hesitant to buy any. I've had enough trouble getting a 512N C15K600 drive to work with them. Also the drives that company sells don't have any factory warranty.

Others have the 12Gb/s cards on ebay, I have a handful they're not cheap even on ebay but you can get them for affordable prices nowdays.
