Would somebody be able to share some more Instructions in how to set these up (if they managed to get anything working) ?
I tried to get a SFF-8644 to SFF-8654 1m Cable from Aliexpress. From my Understanding, unlike "standard" SAS/SATA SFF-8643 to SFF-8654 Cables (which do NOT cross TX/RX), the PCIe SFF-8644 to SFF-8654 Cables and Risers cross TX and RX between the 2 ends, so it should at least have a better change of working.
In Linux however the Card registers with the mpt3sas Driver for some Reason:
I installed a small GPU into the Riser.
I tried applying 12V Power to the Riser via a 6-Pin PCIe Connector and watch dmesg / lspci.
Nothing was detected, not even after a Rescan.
I tried

I tried
PCI-SIG and Serial Cables Modes with the Jumper, but in both Cases it seems to want to register as mpt3sas HBA
