I am trying to figure out what exactly the backplane is for this variant of the RM41416?

The best I could find was SATA/SAS.

So does this mean there are 16 individual SATA CONNECTORS?

OR

Some flavor of SAS connector serving each set of 4 drives?

Need some help here gentlemen, I bought this case newish (open box, but unused for 200+shipping which seems like a fair price) to replace a NORCO-4220 that just smoked 3 backplanes and the drives contained within (glad I back-up).

Anyone know the "T2-BH" nomenclature (t2=sata2 B = Bluray Drive? H = Hotswap?)

Thanks, much appreciate any help.

If it's the RM41416M3 variant it has 12Gbps Mini SAS connectors. If it's not the M3 variant, there was an expander option and a direct connect option, so could be configured for either, depending on how it was originally built. EOL products from Chenbro, although great value for money and really well built, have very little in the way of continued support from them, which was scarce to begin with. Still, a really sweet deal for what you paid :)
