I need help finding items for my new build!

IDEA

Build a very cheap QUAD CPU E5 V1 SERVER or WORKSTATION (modding is a possibility).

A few months back (with the help of the deals thread on ServeTheHome) i purchased this board:

OWNED
Supermicro X9QR7-TF+ 200,- -
Supermicro | Products | Motherboards | Xeon® Boards | X9QR7-TF+
Recently i purchased 4 x E5-4640 @ 60,- each.
RAM - I have lots of 8gb sticks.

NEEDED

Power supply - any ideas are accepted
Chassis, server or workstation, modding is aloud.

I have had this board for a while now and i figured i should finally start making a sick build for this motherboard with the intention to stay as CHEAP as possible.

If i manage to collect all the items, i will post my progress building it until its finished!

Love to hear all kinds of suggestions!

Why not go with this chassis + power?

SC748TQ-R1K43B | 4U | Chassis | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.

Or
SC418E16-R1K62B | 4U | Chassis | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.
SC418E16-R1K62B2 | 4U | Chassis | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.
SC848E16-R1K62B | 4U | Chassis | Products | Super Micro Computer, Inc.

I personally would sell that old heater gear you got :p and run only 2 CPU from v3 or v4 that have 10-14 cores each. More compute power, less heat, less electricity, etc... :) Not to mention that board only supports 1TB ram and 4CPU on 32 slots, you can do that now days with 2 cpus on almost any motherboard.

The nzxt phantom chassis is big enough, but you will need to drill/tap the standoffs.

PSU is whatever, but you will need to find something big enough at to handle all of that!

Each of those 4x 8 pin power does one CPU.

They do make molex to 8 pin adaptors.

This is it. It is exactly the same board:

- Chassis is Thermaltake Core P5
- Need a normal PSU only but you need to use convert adapters to add two more PSU 8-pin power supply
- Heatsink wise I did some DIY so that Noctua D9L can be used on Narrow ILM heatsink socket

Nothing special and I am aiming to get E5-4xxx v2 CPUs with 10 cores each when the price drops.
