This site has consistently come up in all of my lengthy reading and research. Thanks for being so informative!. This is my first post here, so I'm going to make it a big one I guess I'll just jump right into the build I "think" I have my brain wrapped around correctly. This list is my internal cheat sheet, so some things may not make sense, but it's a good starting point I guess.

Now obviously, not the best of the best... in fact quite minimal. Things like GPUs are ones I had laying around to devote to the project for now. Years ago, when DX was still experimental in VMware Workstation I ran a dual user box with acceptable results, and I have decades of hobbyist experience with "unconventional" home RAID set-ups, but quite frankly, I've never gone this far before and could use some critique please. Everything listed is already owned and on the kitchen table lol, so not a wish list. If it was, I would have better SSDs, but... $$$ ya know!
Am I kinda sorta doing this right?
Thanks
