Help please - HP Elitedesk 800 G2 Mini

Hi,
i want to buy that piece of gold for my proxmox project and i got a small problem. I got a spare i5 6500 (not T) - so it's 65W tdp. The G2 mini that i want to buy, is 35w tdp.
I can use my CPU or i have to buy a new one with T ? thank you

BTW, obviously that i have to use a 90w power supply , but i dont know if the mobo will not be mad at me

There is a 65W version of the 800 G2 mini that came with the 6500 non-T, and I believe the BIOS should be the same on both models. So you might give it a try.

The bios might be the same, but the vrm ?
