This is my first server build so bear with me if I say something stupid. I currently have a Supermicro SYS-5018A-TN4 server with 16GB of RAM and qty-2 WD 4TB hard disks.
My goal is to setup a home NAS for file serving, web server, MQTT server, Time Machine backup and Subversion (SVN) server. I am trying to figure out the best way to go about this. Do I need to run a bunch of VMs or should I run everything in FreeNAS of NAS4Free?
This leads me to my next question. Should I use FreeNAS or Nas4Free. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
