We have 2 Dell N4064 switches that are stacked using the 40GbE QSFP ports. we are in the process of acquiring an ixsystems M40-HA that has 2 40GbE. We also have another M40-HA the has the same QSFP ports that are not being used. What switch would you suggest I get to network using the QSFP ports of the M40 and that is stackable with the Dell N4064?

Do you have the 40GbE QSFP expansion modules on each of the existing N4064's? If not, you could add those to get the additional 4 QSFP ports that you are looking for.

As for stacking additional switches, I don't know that you can stack with anything outside the N4000 series, so you would need more N4064's or N4064F

I do not have the expansion modules, I may do that. I do have 40GbE to 4x breakout optical cables. that would be good with the N4064F if i could find one.
thanks

Maybe not stackable but you can easily connect other switches here(40 or 80GbE or more): Cisco 3064PQ, Cisco 3164Q, Celestica DX010
