Has anyone ever got SR-IOV working with Chelsio T420-CR on Hyper-V 2016/2019?

Google unfortunately is not my best friend when it comes to the Chelsio T420-CR cards, effectively zero information regarding configuring these cards on Windows, plenty information for Linux though.

I have been unable to get SR-IOV to work, also VMQ doesn't appear to work on Hyper-V Windows 2016 and 2019.

After countless hours of going between Intel NICs and T420-CR NICs, I have deduced that T420-CR is effectively crippled for more recent Windows operating systems past Windows 2012 R2. Ironically RDMA works great across all recent Windows hosts though.

If my deduction is incorrect, then I am all ears ladies/gents...

Yes this was discovered over a year ago. We went to T5 and then T6 and then upgraded to 100G switches and onto Mellanox, even dabbled with sluggish featureless intels and slapped a few drunk-driver broadcoms around while we were at it.

Mellanox won the battle of tinkering.
