I'm sure there has been much written about this topic, but I cannot find the answer.
Is there a way to get hardware sensor information in ESXi 6.5, 6.7 or 7.0 of unsupported hardware, for instance one of the TMM-solutions?
I'm running ESXi 7.0b on a Prodesk 600 G5 and it run's great. But I want to know what the fan speeds are, how hot the system is running and all that good stuff. Is there a way to get that info by a third party community CIM-provider or WBEM-provider of regular hardware? And I'm not tied to 7.0. If that info is available in 6.5 or 6.7, I'm installing that version. But as it is a rather lengthy exercise to reinstall ESXi I would like to know upfront if that info is available in that version.
