Funny you mention that @jmck I re-tried 2 of the 5 that didn't work in UEFI and DOS a couple times to make sure they were in fact not detected (they never did), then I put in the "working one" and it still was detected.

Opening ebay claim for 5 / 6 and will put the 'working' one through some tests so I have time period still left to return it at a lter time.

 now I need to find a dozen more HBAs still, yay, thanks stupid ebay seller.

@jwegman I'm loving that seller. Scored a awesome deal on a barebones LGA2011 today.

I bet they'd go lower than $70 per with an order of a dozen.

@jwegman do those work in Non-Intel motherboards? I got some of their RAID LSI last year...
I've flashed all 4 of mine with the LSI 9211_8i P20 IT firmware; so I would strongly suspect that they'd work in non-Intel motherboards. However all of mine are in Intel S2600CP2 boards...

@rubylaser @PigLover I see the sticker on my m1015 cards but no place on the H310s.

Any ideas? I've got 3 I checked both sides couldn't find any #s at all that vary actually.
Make one up, I can shoot ya what they 'should be close to' hell I don't even care if you steal/borrow mine, long as you have unique sas addy's in what fabric/chassis you hook up to it will be fine w/ whatever unique 16 digi addy you assign via 'sas2flsh -o -sasadd 5000XXXXXXXXXXXX'

Send them to me, may be able to bring back to life :-D

You all try 'sas2flsh -o -e 6' for a fresh start or P7/Dell 6Gbps firmware if that aligns w/ what card ya got.

Well, I did a sas2flsh -o -f 6GBSSAS.FW

And that worked.

But, not sure it's going to let me go from that to IT.
Good hell I need to catch up on this thread, Dell 6Gbps FW IS IT mode, some say to not go past this but I always cross-flash to LSI 9211 IT mode from here by going first to v7, then WHATEVER FW ver your heart desired from there be it v19/v20, no need to step it like I did in those directions of old I have found now.

I did this on both cards. I did get one working last night, but the other doesn't show up at all in megarec, megacli, or sas2flash, so I think it's dead.

I also can't flash anything to the sbr portion, but as I understand it, that isn't used when the card is in Fusion mode anyways.
