This being said, I can't seem to get 2.7 installed, and registered with BMC (Setup says 2.7, but BMC says 2.6) *shrugs*

maybe synch issue. let BMC fully init. (wait until accible from LAN) after that press pwr_btn
( BIOS talks with BMC and sends BIOS version / SMBios data, BIOS config )

Well, still no parity. Thanks for the ideas. I'll try re-freshing the BMC firmware next...

I tried downloading this today, which I was allowed (good), despite the previous scare post, but the zip is empty. Tried multiple times. Anyone else?

I replied to the announcement email sent by support@supermicro.com asking about this.

I figured it out - Firefox must have a new feature that blocks downloads, see pics:



What's dumb is that the file still downloads, it's just a 0 byte zip. Confusing...

Achieved success!

I un-checked all "Preserve" selections in Firmware Management, updated both BIOS and BMC, and everything is synced now.
