I am helping an estate liquidation group list a bunch of new equipment that the owner of the estate had purchased prior to his passing.
I’m a fellow homelabber and couldn’t help but like these two servers when I saw the Gigabyte boxes. They’re both brand new in box, including rails and hardware etc.
They have the ThunderX ARM processor though and it’s embedded on the mobo. I’m not entirely sure how the ARM stuff works but ChatGPT said, “Gigabyte R150-T60 ARM64 1U server, original packaging, rails, dual CPUs, 8x 2.5” bays, onboard QSFP+/SFP+ networking. Good for ARM64 Linux testing, lab work, and collector/dev use.”
I also have a second one that I didn’t take pics of yet that is the R181-T90.
Would anyone have interest here? Not looking to get rich but we have an obligation to get roughly market value. But since these are ARM servers, there’s no real eBay comps that I can find.
I’ll take pics of this more expensive one tonight but here’s the write up.
“Gigabyte R181-T90 1U ARM64 server with dual Cavium/Marvell ThunderX2 CPUs, ECC DDR4, enterprise BMC/IPMI, hot-swap bays, and high-speed networking. Ideal for ARM64 Linux development, Kubernetes/container testing, CI/build workloads, software porting, and architecture lab use.”
Shoot me some PMs if interested?
