Gigabyte MZ72-HB0 Rev 1.x vs. 3.0

So 3.0 brings Milan support - anyone know if there are other differences? I have my eye on this board for a Rome build and can't seem to find any info on the difference between revisions. There are two different BIOS sets so I'm thinking there must be some HW change.

I'm speaking with a supplier now, I think it's just a bios update, although that answer made me a little uncomfortable.
