I installed an MZ32-AR0 into my Epyc homelab system yesterday and I am having an issue. I have 2x U.2 SSDs both confirmed to be good on other systems, but for the life of me I cannot get the system to recognize one of the drives. I am utilizing the u.2 slots that aren't tied in with PCIE slot "#7" so that shouldn't be an issue, but I'm not quite sure what the issue could be. I have swapped cables around, reformatted the drive multiple times and can't get the system to recognize it, any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Questions:

1. Brand and models of all Nvme drives
2. Brand and models of all PCIe adapters
3. If a dual-adapter is used, is bifurcation set for the respective PCIe slot? Which slots did you try?
4. Are power issues ruled out?

Are you connecting via Slim connectors maybe?

I'm having this same issue, were you able to solve it OP?

1. Intel P4510
2. BPN-SAS3-826EL1-N4 with these cables: PCIE 4.0 Slimline SAS SFF-8654 Cable 4i to Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 Adapter Cable | eBay
3. No dual adapter (I don't think...)
4. How to rule out power issues?

I'm connecting BPN top slot (NVME1) to U2_0 on board

No idea what it could be. I don't have another drive to test with but that might be my next step. Drives just aren't detected at all. BPN glow blue for about 2 secs when I insert the drive. I've tried different BPN ports and different U2 ports on the board...

Any ideas? I do have an m.2 drive connected to the board.

In my experience use Supermicro cables and respective Supermicro PCIe U.2 adapters if working with BPN-SAS3-826EL1-N4
