Well I should have done more research before going down this rabbit hole...

I had purchased some Kingston 5600 (XMP) modules (KF556R36RBK4-128 and KF556R28RBE2K4-128) thinking I could run them at 5600mhz however I don't see any way to change the RDIMM voltage or sub-timings even with doing ctrl+shift+F2. Anyone have any tips for me, or am I just spinning my wheels?

i have run them on ASRock Rack and Gigabyte @5600 1.1V
you only need a CPU with 5600 support.

I tested one kit at 5600mhz at 1.1v for 8 hours on AIDA64 and it was stable. I'll try both kits and see how it works. Wish I could lower the timings a little, but as long as it's stable I'll be happy.

Thank you very helpful, looks like this doesn't have IAA but has DSA, QAT, DLB. The the hunt for me continues... Wondering why intel lists specs to have the default devices when it seems many have either the on-demand communication suite or analytics suite but not all the default devices listed.

there is no official list for the Q2SR. brand string is "0000" so you can't checke a guesses SKU for features.

To add to the last topic:
Would the accelerator appear without the on-demand license?
Or would the shown accelerators that appear on PCI bus refuse opeation without such a license?
(any tip for a command to query the status of that?)

What is the sustained all-core AVX512 frequency for Q2SR?

I am experimenting with QYFS + MS03-CE0, and it is running at 1.8 GHz in LINPACK benchmarks. The "Turbo Ratio Limits - AVX-512" from hwinfo screenshots is 23 for 56 cores, but apparently it is just the hard limit and not what is sustained. Anyways, I am trying to figure out how large the gain in performance would be if I replace QYFS by Q2SR. Has anyone had a look at the core clocks during an AVX512 workload?
Hope you're doing well. I noticed that you're using the GIGABYTE MS03 motherboard. Would you mind sharing the BIOS file you're currently using?
I'm having some trouble with mine and would really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot!

Just to understand your problem, do you need a version that supports QYFS on MS03?

I just got Gigabyte MS73-HB1 Rev 3 with Bios version R16. I put an Q2SE (Identified as emerald rapids ES ) and no boot. I read that there are issues with running ES CPU s with later BIOS versions. Any recommendations here? I see @RolloZ170 passing custom BIOSes. Do I need a custom BIOS or do I need to flash old bios version? Any suggestions?

Had to disable the BIOS cpu option - Extended APIC. Does a newer BIOS solve this issue? (and if anybody has some patched one, I would appreciate a link or hint).

Strangely I could not even boot with x2apic=off kernel option after I discovered what the problem was using a serial console.

That Tainted: [S]=CPU_OUT_OF_SPEC is also something new... I assume its coming from using an ES processor.
