As there has been quite some activity here lately I'd lke to retry getting a solution to a problem I mentioned here a few months ago:
I am running TrueNAS CE 25.10.0.1 at the moment I have the problem, that the wrong display is used, since I added an Intel A310 for transcoding. All display output (POST output, BIOS settings, TrueNAS boot and console) goes to the wrong display or rather GPU - the A310.

I've tried with the iGPU enabled or disabled and many different settings (even from the hidden BIOS menus) to get output to the web KVM. Even Gigabyte support couldn't help me. Any ideas?

I run the same exact setup on my 2nd machine and have no issues like that, pretty sure i haven't changed anything in bios re iGPU/GPU
It just works oob, so maybe do a hard reset of system/bios setting

Also you should have output from IPMI/Aspeed before the A310 is even active, so no web KVM seems very very strange to me

Thanks, finally got mine running.
Bought all the stuff back in 2024 (even ram :) ), but just didn't have the time.
Was pretty scared about the prospect of the board being DOA and finding an affordable replacement.

I am planning on finally rebuilding my NAS this winter after plenty of time tinkering! Bought back in 2024! Glad I got my 64GB DDR4 EEC when I did. Thought it was expensive then :Do_O

There was a new SOP manual added to the support page a few days ago for doing BIOS updates. New BIOS soon I hope!

many other boards got update as of today 26/12/2025 but MC12 is late or there is none coming.
Isn't F20 new even though it's dated april 24 ?

I just updated to 3 boards to f19 the other day and don't remember seeing f20 at that time

Hmm I am not too sure. I think f20 came out a day after f19 after some really basic mistake. I will download and check the notes. 2min

1. Fixed Gigabyte Logo display

I think they released it without the full screen gigabyte splash page.
I turn that off anyway but I updated at the time.
