Try clear CMOS...
Yes it does this and 8x4x4x if you need that tooWhat bifurcation options does this board have? Can the top slot do 4x/4x/4x/4x?
With a desktop CPU, yes. APUs stop at x8x4x4.Can the top slot do 4x/4x/4x/4x?
The global website does not contain F17 anymore.Just a heads up people, new BIOS is out F17.
1) Fixed CVE-2023-31315.
2) Fixed PKfail issue.
MC12-LE0 (rev. 1.x) | Workstation Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
Edit:
Secure boot is back and working
Second Edit:
Eco mode is not showing for me anymore on 5950x. I had to go into PBO an set it manually. No big problem there. Would be interested to hear if everyone is seeing the same thing.
Yep, I can confirm the F18 version also works for me.Edit: upgraded to F18 (thanks Rollo) all seems well, reporting at F18 in the BIOS etc
The MCX311A-XCAT is a x4 card. Either way, putting an x8 card in an x4 slot will work just fine. you will be limited to x4 bandwidth, which on gen 3 is fine for even dual 10gbe. The physical connector for the x4 slot is open back, so any size pcie card will fit and just stick out a bit.Hello
So i have a few questions about this board
I want to use a Mellanox MCX311A-XCAT CX311A ConnectX-3 EN 10GbE SFP+ NIC (which has a PCIe x8) so i have to put it on the PCIe x16 slot.
So what happens if i also want later to add a GPU?
I plan o put a 3700X CPU on it but since the PCIe slot being occupied by the NIC should a go for a 4700G CPU to use the iGPU?
I have read the thread but i saw that the iGPU is not recognized by the board because it already have one integrated?
The 4x port is open-ended, so you can put your Mellanox network card there, the space behind the port is empty.I want to use a Mellanox MCX311A-XCAT CX311A ConnectX-3 EN 10GbE SFP+ NIC (which has a PCIe x8) so i have to put it on the PCIe x16 slot.

I could have swear that it was PCIe 8x NIC.I think it will work OK, this is a SFP+ single-port, PCIe3 4x should be enough.
Went ahead and tested this with a Ryzen 5 Pro 5650g, bios F18: Machine boots just fine with UEFI display and desktop available in ipmi kvm. The igpu device is available and my windows test desktop pulled the driver for it like normal. You can use an igpu but not for display output from the machine like you would a desktop. The board only has vga output so it would be a bad experience too. It will also (according to other posts) make remote display not work. I have not verified this though - there might be a workaround. You can use an igpu for transcoding things if you have software that supports it.
the CPU iGPU is not wired to any output connector.the iGPU is not recognized by the board because it already have one integrated?
A single PCIe 3 x4 slot has 4GB/s of bandwidth - this is 32Gb/s, way more than you need for a single 10Gb Ethernet connection.I could have swear that it was PCIe 8x NIC.
Would i get the full speed of it or it will be limited?
