While perusing through eBay, I came up on this motherboard for sale. It's a dual 2011-0 (with square ILM) SSI EEB motherboard with onboard LSI2008, 2x10GBase-t (X540-AT2), and looks like a solid board. Patrick reviewed the GA-7PESH1 a few years back and it had good results. Don't know if it has the I/O shield, but at the price, I didn't mind.

Wish it was a v3 board. We can dream right? LOL!

Really nice I just got the 2x 1GBE Variant for slightly less.
So unfortunately its to late for me now.

Yes.
There is a test for theGigabyte GA-7PESH1 on the blog. This looks to be the same but with 2x10G instead of 2x1G

wow....man, 10 onboard rj45 10gige is pretty incredible to find on a board this cheap, it basically cuts out the cost of having to buy overpriced x540-t2 adapters. get a couple of these with a good deal on a netgear xs712t and you've got a nice setup.

Anyone know the best 8/16gb sticks to pair with this board. Couldn't find a compatibility list anywhere. This is extremely tempting with the E5s that are going so cheap now too. Just gotta find a case lol
