I am on Esxi 6.0 u2. Using web client for your OVA of napp-it_2016.4. I am using web client because vsphere client doesnt work with 6.0 for some reason.

When I try to edit settings I get this:

"Unhandled Exeption (1)
Unfortunately, we hit an error that we weren't expecting.

The client may continue working, but at this point, we recommend refreshing your browser and submitting a bug report."


Clicking "Details" gives me this:

The web client in 6.0u2 is very new and has some bugs. It has some advantages like that you can add an usb datastore but currently the Windows client is superiour regarding functionality and stability (may change as the web client is the future). Currently I use the Windows client only.

I would retry to run the Windows client in the meantime.

Unfortunately the windows client refuses to find the server.

Firewall issue of some kind? Make sure ports TCP 443, TCP & UDP 902 and TCP 903 are open in both directions between your vsphere client and your ESXi host

I'll assume you can ping the host and have connectivity at least
