This spring there were a bunch of Fusion-io ioDrive II's out there for $550 or so that were in the 785GB size. Now there's several I believe may be mislabeled on ebay and selling cheaply.
1.3TB ioDrive II for $529 ending tomorrow: Fusion-io ioDrive SSD Accelerator Drive MLC F00-001-1T30-CS-0001 1.2TB 1.3TB
1.2-1.3 $599 also no bids ending tomorrow: Fusion-io ioDrive SSD MLC F00-001-1T30-CS-0001 1.2TB 1.3TB Solid State Drive

Here's another one - $648 same seller 10 avail with best offer: Fusion-io ioDrive MLC PCIe x4 F00-001-1T30-CS-0001 1.2TB 1.3TB SSD Solid State

So it looks like the newer ioDrive II's are now at or under $0.50/gb.

It's odd that you'll only find that exact part # on their eBay ad and where one says "II" and the other doesn't. The closest part #, I can find, is F00-001-1t20-cs-0001 which is a real deal Fusion ioDrive II card. I'm a bit confused at this point and finding these model numbers for fusion cards has been a PITA to be honest. I wish there was a master sheet somewhere :)

Update: I found another eBay auction, by another user, that points to same part # but then says that the MFG part # is SDFABAMOD-1T20-SF1

If you look that up it states the same Fusion ioDrive II...:confused:

My card arrived today and I installed the latest Fusion-IO drivers and updated the firmware while I was at it.

And the warning was likely from that benchmark making the temps sky-rocket.. or was it an old warning?

That's the most "PBW" I've seen on a drive yet.

The cut n paste was from an old warning from firing it up in my desktop first ;)

In my lab server it's sitting at 53C

Only 15PB of endurance left...

Usually those numbers are at 4K random writes but some vendors differ. Still, if you did nothing but 1GB/s sequential writes to that drive 24x7, and the PBW is for sequential not random (usually sequential is much easier on drives) then you only have about half a year worth of writes left on it.

Nice find!!!!

Wow the price has been jacked up sadly. I will watch and wait on Ebay for the time being.

Does anyone know if it possible to use this drive as a boot device? Maybe on Linux?
