The STH main site is 100% running on AMD EPYC nodes right now. Even their primary backup server is a 7301P hard drive machine.

We have run portions of the site on EPYC nodes before, but this is the first time we have had the site 100% on EPYC.

The forums are still using Xeon nodes. Firewalls are still mostly Intel Xeon based, but we now have an EPYC firewall too to see how that goes.

Next up, I think we are going to try Optane DCPMM for the DB servers. Fun times!

Would you consider doing an article on the mental models you follow when considering, designing, and implementing an upgrade?
Yes. I have been getting requests to refresh the "Going Colo" series.
