NICE deal, I almost bit a time or two on their LSI 2008 offering (Fujitsu D2607-A21).

Can those SR optics just be removed and use DAC's? Of course for $10 of loot or what many have laying arnd (OM3/4 cabling), you could likely just hook it right up w/ these right? (granted you have switch-side optics as well)

Based on the listing - "Includes (2x) Finisar FTLX8571D3BCL transceivers", I would say they should be totally removable.

Unfortunately, I won't have mine for a couple of more days, so can't say for certain until, and it won't really matter to me, since I will be going the fiber route.
