Well if you look at what the individual spare parts cost ... I am quite happy with it :)

And I can do that o/c, but you might wanna check if it is not cheaper to send the cpu back and forth than sending then chassis one way...
My guess is that shipping from Germany is cheaper - I doubt I can ship a CPU safely for less than 25 EUR. And then you would have to send it back, since its in use right now in a server that I don't want to get rid of just yet.

How much do you think it would cost to ship one server to Denmark?

Thats certainly cheaper than shipping a CPU back and forth - provided you are okay with not getting the server back?
The absolute cheapest option for me to ship a CPU to you is 18 EUR. (With tracking)

So my unit just arrived and wanted to post some baselines. Ubuntu server logged in, idle (clean installation, no GUI installed, LCD connected):

Configs:
Fujitsu TX1320 M3: CPU G4560, 2x8gb 2400 DDR4 unbuffered,
Dell R220: CPU 1268L v3, 1x8gb 14900 DDR3 unbuffered

Results idle (iRMC/iDRAC not connected):
TX1320 + CP400i + backplane + 2xSM863a: 26W
TX1320 + 1xS3500 (sata directly to board): 10W
R220 + 1xS3500 (sata directly to board): 23W

Box off, iRMC/iDRAC connected to network (not using it, just connected cable to management port)
TX1320: 3-4W
R220: 9W

Box off, iRMC/iDRAC not connected to network for 10 minutes (I plugged in the cable to the management port, let it blink then disconnect and wait 10 minutes)
TX1320: 0W (or not detectable by smart outlet)
R220: 8W

I have not found anything unfortunately:(
Its very weird that a license for this costs several hundred euros - and you can buy the server for 20 EUR :)

But its probably because its the same software as on their newer gen servers - these servers are not old enough yet to become 100% EOL.

Older fujitsus are impossible to buy keys for, even from Fujitsu.

Did you have troubles with temps?
Installed HP H221 (flashed with LSI fw) and it runs dangerously hot even while not connected to anything.
Drives fan does not change RPMs at all and lm-sensors did not found temp sensor on hba or any fan controls. Just showing core temps.

When I plug in a 10gbp nic into the server, my fans spin up - I think the bios/whatever detects that an add-in card is inserted and ramp up the fans - its actually quite annoying :) But it should keep the card a little cooler, so thats good I guess.
