I would think 175€ would get you better stuff than 1 lowly xeon and two measly memory modules ... I am sure there are better deals to be made. Just need to find them

Edit - or 170 if you add 5 more for shipping since thats likely more expensive then
Is that with tax or without?
- You can get new 2666 modules for €42 (inc tax)... that leaves you 80 bucks for cpus...
...
- Ok, CPU prices are crazy. But you can get single/individual 1220v6's at ~€50 - that leaves a lot for shipping
Oh and I spent €145 on 5 of these and not a dime more yet. Not my fault you don't hoard all your old stuff
Its 205 including VAT, but I might be wrong, since seller's math is different than normal math
And if its including VAT, then ex vat (Polish), we are down to 166,66 EUR
I doubt that can be found on ebay cheaper, since nowhere is a seller that have 5 units, and its the cheapest option. All sellers that have more than 1 item are more expensive, and those that are cheapest have 1 or max 2 items, and I would then buy 3-4 bundles of RAM/CPU and pay 3-4x shipping twice.
And yes, I wish I had a lot of old hardware I could just swap into these chassis, then I would have ordered 5 units already.
The other seller that sells for 20 EUR came back with an offer to ship 5 units in 3 packages, so I would save 2x shiping (50 EUR total saved + 5x5 EUR for chassis) - but their shipping is still 75 EUR for 5 units shipped total
But still nothing beats getting everything from one seller because of the many times shipping I have to pay.
EDIT: Actually it never occured to me that new ram might be cheaper than trying to buy it on ebay - that might change things around a bit

Since I can definately find a seller outside of ebay that has 10x8GB modules - I will probably not be able to get a discount, but if I can get 10x at 1x shipping price it will probably be worth it.
