I managed to get 12 at that price in the past 45 days so I'll remain hopeful ha.

I have a ton to trade. I'll try to come up with a list this week.

The Drive trays that are broken what exactly does it stop you from doing? Is it just more difficult to change drives or are they completely unusable?
Sorry I should have given more details. Definitely usable! I use this as a backup array now but don't need this additional backup system anymore. I just pull them straight out or wait till the system is down to pull drives out if necessary. I can give you a live demo if you'd like ha.

The MCP-220-00118-0B take some of the thicker enterprise 2.5 SSDs still, right? For $12 I will take the gamble. PM on the way.

Almighty here is pretty much furnishing a whole new media server for me. Here's the list of items I'll be buying.
Taking a bunch of this stuff.

Super micro CSE-826BE1C-R920LPB chassis to hold all this stuff

The second PWS-920P-SQ
so my wife doesn't miss an episode of the other fails.

2x Intel Xeon E5-2620v2
since it's just a media server...these will work for now.

Supermicro X10DRH-i board
You know, to plug stuff into.

LSI 9361-8i
Because who doesn't need an overkilled raid setup

Dealing with Almighty was a pleasure. He took the time to hold my hand through this process and answered all of my newb leaning questions. It was much appreciated.

Do you mean V3? I don't think that board supports V2s, just V3 and V4.

As it so happens, I'll also have a pair of 2620 V3s that'll be going up for sale very soon. I just have to figure out how to get the bios updated on my annoyingly-hard-to-update HP server so that I can install the V4s I got first.

I wanted to pop back in here and thank @Almighty as well. I received the Supermicro 3.5 to 2.5 toolless drive adapters and they look completely unused. On top of that, I was expecting adapters I’d put in my current 3.5 drive caddies, but these were brand new 3.5 drive caddies with the toolless adapter already installed.

These things are sweet!
