Upgraded my ESXi cluster - so selling my old one. Have 3x HP DL20 G9 1270V5, 64GB RAM(4x16) and 1x PSU (can take 2). Had these running as compute nodes using shared NAS datastore. I would've kept these if not for my need for NVMe speed and new adventures with VSAN.
These seem to average about 45-60watt running.
With right drives - These things are pretty silent - the are only 15" depth! (Perfect for wall mounted rack)
These generally go for base price of $400 - because of the Extra/Maxed out ram - I'm asking $550/each/obo.
-1270 v5 CPU
-64GB RAM (Non HP Branded)
-4x SFF - SATA3/SAS3 (3x Blanks)
-H240 HBA (Not pictured/installed)
-Has the latest HPE 9/19 SPP run against it.
-RAIL KIT - YES I have the actual rail kit for each one.
-Will need to reset ILO (I forgot to clean before uninstalling)
