Purchased April 17, 2016. Great little machine for everyday computing tasks and could even handle some very light (2vcpu, 4GB RAM) VMs but I found the lack of ports made it impractical to replace my W540 when I traveled as I would had to carry external drives, ODD, USB LAN adapter, and a USB hub since there is only one USB port. After about six weeks I went back to using my laptop full time.
I'm looking for an E3-12xx v3 + 16GB ECC UDIMMs + E3C226DI + a good SSD. A similar combo featuring an E3-1200 v5 + DDR4 would be even better. My preference is to trade for used components which hold similar retail value of the above, which is ~$1200. If I can't get any equivalent offers I will post it on eBay where I hope to net ~$900, which is what I will be looking for in a cash transaction.
