All 846 chassis are 24 bay (not counting the option to add 2 rear bays for 2.5" disks). The 36 bay version is the 847 chassis.

Sorry for unrelated question but few people were looking for 24 bay 846's so it might be good to bump this post. Bluefox, can we use the standard Rev B supermicro rails on 846/847 servers?

Sounds like a great deal, especially with rails included. I bought one of these from a member here a few years back for $415 + shipping, and shipping came out to $82. I don't remember if mine came with rails or not (I don't use them) but either way great chassis and good price IMHO.
