I purchased this off eBay last July for my science computing tasks. But plan did not go well because of power/noise/RAM etc. The server was collecting dust since then. The server is perfectly working though.
It has 4 hot-pluggable nodes in a 2U chassis. each node has:
(2) AMD Opteron 6380, 16c/16t
(2) 4GB RAM
(1) dual-port 10G SPF+ PCI-E network card, Supermicro AOC-STGN-I2S
So in total the server has 8 CPUs with 128 cores. 32GB RAM. 4 10G cards.
In addition, the chassis has:
(2) 1400W PSU, PWS-1K41P-1R
(12) hot-swappable 3.5" drive bays

Note that two nodes deformed in the back, see picture for detail. But this does not affect slide in/out and lock functions at all.
Prefer local pickup@ 43210 because it's extremely heavy. But willing to accommodate shipping, buyer pays additional shipping. Asking for $550, accept PayPal.
