Can you post a picture of the "No Part # Frame"? Price seems about fair considering what I paid for my rear windows and drive cages for my conversions.

NOTE: Will update with some pics when I get home tonight.
  • with a smile and not being snarky (I know I'm long winded) ;)
  • However, if just looking for understanding of what that part is, here you go (borrowed from external site referenced in the conversion thread I mentioned)
EDIT: 01/08/19 07:456AM PT - "Borrowed" Images removed ...

  • Apologies for the delay, I didn't have time to get to this over the weekend, but maybe what I lack in speed I can make up for with quality / quantity? ;)
  • Also, removing the images from my last reply as I've replaced them with images of the actual parts and they were "borrowed" in the first place.
  • A bit of an install tutorial follows (although I suspect anyone installing this conversion doesn't need instruction). It is far from difficult of course.
Install tutorial follows ...

1. Prior to installing 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage, but with Rear Window in place, fasten Cage Frame to Rear Window with 2 screws

Note: These two screws will be covered by the 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage once it is inserted.

2a.Insert 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage into Cage Frame.
2b. F
asten 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage to Chassis with 1 screw and fasten 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage to Cage Frame with two screws.

3. Fasten 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage to Cage Frame with 1 screw (which also fastens it to the Rear Window).
Note: The screws mentioned earlier are now covered by the 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage.

4a. Attach included MiniSAS HD (SFF-8643) to 4 SATA Cable.
4b. Attach included 4-pin Power Supply Cable.

5a. Populate 2.5-Inch Hot Swap SAS/SATA Drive Caddy Trays with Drives.
5b. Insert Populated 2.5-Inch Hot Swap SAS/SATA Drive Caddy Trays into 2 x 2.5" HDD Cage.
Note: Drives not included. ;)

6. Open a beer and admire your work ...

After I was done snapping pics for this post, I had to drill out 5 rivets (which I've marked with small arrows of Frog Tape for your reference).
Note: The other bits of Frog Tape are either holding screws in place / confirming mount points where two parts are fastened with the included screws (OK, so I also wanted to ensure I included all the screws and that helped me). :)

Just confirming I didn't mess up removal of the rivets.

Note: Binder clips are holding the Cage Frame in place. You will want to go with something different to fasten. ;)
