You were the first to see the post and mention you would take them if the price was lower. There were multiple people who offered to pay the listed price who I only agreed upon after responding to you privately. You had your chance, I don't see any dickiness about that. I do feel bad you lost your first chance opportunity but sellers usually just want to recoup what they paid with minimum losses.
