Looks like GP100 has 3 NVENCs but for some reason they are capped at 4K x 4K frames?! Seems silly to use a double-precision-optimized datacenter card for Plex transcoding unless you have some other reason to need dp performance though.

Cost of the card is cheaper than a Quadro?

Have had two of these from XeonSam working out well for me on a Dell R7525 for the last 2 months. These are Dell OEM, so they work well with Dell machines — the R7525 BMI detects them correctly as accelerators, etc.

Packed great, shipped fast. You're a great seller XeonSam!

My use case: AI crap mostly with PyTorch. I haven't tried Plex on this yet… mainly because this entire setup uses so much power I am not sure it makes sense as a 24/7 Plex machine, haha.

A P2000 has dual NVENCs with unlimited sessions for $200 so for strictly Plex work it's likely better, a P4000 is about the same price. Plus they have features like fans and display outputs.

I know, I'm hoping to do a bulk sale as I can discount the heck outta these for people who want multiples. Free shipping, lower prices, whatever... Also, these have awesome NVidia power cables.

I'm not really trying to sell singles TBH... Too much work and too many cards for that to work out. Over 60 remaining - I bought these thinking I could make some money. The first 100 sold very fast, then after a while everyone started to match or lower their prices on ebay. Now the only way to get rid of these is to sell them under cost.

If anyone is serious just PM me a number for whatever quantity (other than 1) - You maybe suprised!

I wish I was in the states. This is attractive pricing. Otherwise shipping these overseas is costly and heavy and taxing...

I am interested if you are willing to sell one.
This is for my PhD research, and I need to collect some profiling data on older GPUs (P100 and V100) as a comparison with A100/H100.
If you have V100, I would also be interested as well.

Sam is awesome;
I just received the P100 today and everything goes smoothly. He packaged it safely with a lot of bubble wrap and an ESD bag.
Thank you Sam for helping with my PhD research.

This is for testing only without any heavy tasks. I will add the fan shroud and Noctua fan at the end of the card to give a proper airflow.

If you dont apply some type of airflow through that P100, it will thermal throttle in about 30 seconds under full load. The Kraken G12 GPU mounting kit and a single of dual AIO cooler is a great way to cool the P100. I am running it on a couple of P100s I bought from Sam. A nice 46C under full constant load.

I don't really like water-cooling.
I plan to have something like this. As long as the fan can supply above the required airflow (i.e., minimum CFM), it should be okay. That Noctua NF-A9 PWM can supply 46.44 CFM.

After I get time to access the R760xa (currently occupied by A100 PCIe and H100 PCIe), I will put this P100 into that chassis. Still looking for V100 PCIe as well.

You need blowers, not going to push through them like that, not enough static pressure. Nidec Gamma 30s works well.

I used recycled cardboard to make a shroud and slapped in a Nidec 92mm fan (max 4400 rpm, 69.6 cfm, cannibalized from Dell system and modifying Dell proprietary pinout). This is good if you have no space constraint and only one card in the PC. Not the most elegant solution but it can keep the gpu temp around 70°C or less via adjusting the fan speed when running distributed computing projects.

edit: using a push-pull fan configuration setup.

all of them work one is like 4.5w the other 6w or something like that.
you will have to repin the fans tho...
I printed the adapters.... lots of them lol.

A34123-57 is one of them
