Gotcha. How does it handle 1GB/1GB connection and a few packages? I'm looking for something that can handle a good VPN connection (over 50MB+) and some pretty intense filtering.

It can handle a 1Gbe connection with a heavy firewall ruleset. Depending on what else you plan on doing your performance may vary.
