Can't say enough good things: have this with thunderbolt + Razer core + 1080ti. Amazing NUC!

Someone buy the OP's NUC!

Agree these are awesome. I have one that is doing some CPU intensive radio stuff that keeps it pegged 24/7 at a load average of about 7.5 and it has been rock solid. I've even been thinking about adding 10gbe to it via the TB3 port or the spare m.2 slot.

How would you add 10Gbe via TB3 or the m.2 interface?
There exist a few TB3 boxes that "remote" a PCIe slot. These are mostly built to support high-end graphics cards, but they do work with network cards to - like the Mellanox CX3-EN. TB3 bandwidth if 20Gbps full duplex, so plenty of headroom for a single 10Gbe link.

Example: AKiTiO Thunder3 PCIe Box | PCI Express Expansion Chassis with Thunderbolt 3 Interface | AKiTiO.

Not a super cost-effective way to get a small box with 10Gbe, but it does work. Akitio had it set up demonstrating it at the last IDF (summer 2016) so its even had a bit of time to mature.

@nkw scooped my reply by less than a minute, though I doubt there is room for that m.2 adapter inside the case :)

If I remember correctly there was some company manufacturing replacement case tops/covers for the NUCs to accommodate different expansion options. Stuff like an extra network port or another 2.5" drive. I doubt anyone has been crazy enough to stick a PCI card on top of it. (Although now I'm thinking it might be a challenge..)

Any trade opportunities?
I would entertain a trade for any of the following:

-ssds (need two at 500gb or so and one around 200gb).
-larger 2.5" sas/sata drives
-DDR4 ram

Anything else super interesting I would consider.
