I had planned this build... and then realized this was going to be too complex + too much TDP for what I want to do. Never powered it on or put in a case, I just loaded what components I could on the motherboard and then it sat on my shelf. It was going to be an epic, hyper-converged NVMe + NAS + everything... and then I was just too busy to actually move forward with it and got nervous about how much power it was going to eat.

TRADE

I have a Ryzen 3900X in a machine I want to convert to use as a lab machine... but I also want my PCIe slot free. So, I'm looking to trade for basically "any" Socket AM4 APU -- 4600/4700G, 5600/5700G preferred but would consider 4300/5300 as well.

Preferred Together
CPU: AMD EPYC 7443P Unlocked
Motherboard: ASRock ROMED6U-2L2T (original box, all accessories)

Looking at my receipts, looks like I picked up everything around January 2022 from various sources and it has all sat on my shelf since then.

So that's 24 cores, 192 GB of RAM and the accompanying mobo. I don't even want to look up how much I paid for this all to just have it sit since January 2022... bundle above for? Open to offers.

I don't have a tray handy for the CPU, so I would like to sell it with the motherboard. The RAM I could pull, I do have the shipping boxes for that. Let me know and we can figure something out.

Pics of course available on request.

Other RAM:
6x 32GB PC4-3200 2Rx8 ECC UDIMM (Nemix RAM P/N: ME25600-328) -- $25/ea, $125 for all. SOLD
8x 16GB 2666MHz PC4-21300 ECC Registered Memory (Nemix RAM P/N: MR21300-628) -- $10/ea., $70 for all.
2x16 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR-3200 SODIMM (Crucial P/N BL2K16G32C16S4B) - $50 (this is CL16 spec'd) SOLD

Ballistix kit for me please, those are pretty much one of the fastest DDR4 SODIMMs in existence.

FYI, that ram you have is not compatible with your motherboard or CPU. if you had ever powered it on you would have realized this.

EPYC Milan only supports RDIMM (buffered/Registered).
you have UDIMM (Unbuffered/unregistered)

don't bother selling them as a combo since they are not compatible.

Sigh -- thanks for the call out, that is good to know. I will edit the post when I get home + have some time off work.

OP has been here but hasn't replied to to my post :|
Sorry about that -- will PM you now.

Modules won't do 4000 MT/s at default timings in the DeskMini :( Oh well, I blame that to the 1.35V vDIMM limit.
