Would this allow me to run a software raid (mirror) consisting of 2x NVME's (970 Evo Plus)?

I've been looking for something like this to add some redundancy to my NVME VM storage.

The ram came out of a r730 so pretty sure theyre compatible .

the adapter card is 1 nvme slot and 1 sata slot (both m.2 format), if you had onboard raid on your mobo it might work, not 100% sure if the Pcie card + native nvme slot would be mobo raidable, would be dependent on your board. A os software raid it should work as long as it’s can see both drives.
