The R230 is a fantastic server that balances performance with very low operating power.

Dell Precision 3420 Workstation - $250 + shipping

• Xeon e3-1225v5
• 16GB DDR4
• 1TB HDD

This little computer packs as much punch as the R230 above in a smaller footprint. Unlike a NUC or similar small box, this thing supports upgrading parts! It has room for 2 PCIe cards (PFsense NIC and HBA?). It has an m2 interface. Plus you can fit 2 2.5" or 1 3.5" drive inside.

Local is 53711 but happy to ship. I've got several great boxes available to send this machine.
