Whats the noise level on the Supermicro 5018A-TN4? Does this board have a SATA DOM port? Looks like a good box for pfSense.

It's quite quiet thanks to the CPU TDP being only 20W. If you don't need the second fan, you can disconnect it too. There is a header to power a single SATA DOM, so yes, they're supported.

Does it have 4 GB ethernet ports and an IPMI port? What did you use this box for?
Yep, 4 x 1GBe and a 5th dedicated IPMI port. I think like most people, it was used for pfSense. Also used these for low power VM hosts since most of what I run at home sits idle the majority of the time.

Has the board of the Supermicro 5018A-TN4 been RMA'd for the Atom C2000 bug? What memory model (ECC?)? Thanks!

I have not RMAed it. The board actually only supports ECC RAM so far as I'm aware. They're Kingston 1600MHz DIMMs. I can get you the exact model if you want when I'm home from work.

@BlueFox do you have to be the original owner/buyer to have the board RMAed? Is this one still under warranty to have it RMAed?

No, you don't.

A lot of us on here bought some other models on ebay and we all RMAd them without issue :)
I can say without a doubt what T_Minus is saying holds true. 5 boards bought from eBay over the last 3 months have went back for a FREE fix minus the shipping paid to get the motherboard back to SM. They usually turn them over in 2-4 days as well.
